 TIP  FOR  PREPARATIONS  OF  SEVERAL  HOURS  IN  ADVANCE  AND  STORING  IN  THE  FRIDGE

You can put layers of vegetables in advance in a bowl and add the seasonings and mix only when serving to the table. The salad stays crispy and fresh

     -    3 tomatoes, quartered or cut
into thin slices
     -    1 large green onion, finely chopped
     -    Chopped leaves of za'atar, oregano and thyme (all or some)
     -    12 large lettuce leaves rolled and finely chopped, or torn by hand
     -    Lemon juice generously
     -    Olive oil
     -    Coarse salt
